Iman Vellani & Teyonah Parris Will Appear in ‘Captain Marvel 2’ as Ms. Marvel & Monica Rambeau

Today, during Marvel Studios feature film section of Disney’s Investor Day presentation producer Kevin Feige announced that Ms. Marvel star Iman Vellani will crossover and appear in Captain Marvel 2. This makes obvious sense considering that Ms. Marvels’ idol is Captain Marvel thus why she takes her mantle up in the comics.

Brie Larson will return to play Carol Danvers. Also, Teyonah Parris will return as adult Monica Rambeau in the upcoming sequel after appearing in WandaVision. Candyman sequel director Nia DaCosta has come on board to direct the project for Marvel.

Captain Marvel 2 is slated to be released July 8th, 2022
