‘The Suicide Squad’ Star Steve Agee Joins ‘Peacemaker’ HBO Max Series

Today, Deadline announced that actor Steve Agee would be crossing over from The Suicide Squad to the spin-off series Peacemaker on HBO Max. Agee is playing to characters in the original film, including King Shark, through motion-capture. However, Agee will be playing the second human character John Economos, the warden of Belle Reve and personal aid to Amanda Waller (Viola Davis).

John Cena will be returning to play the anti-hero Peacemaker. With James Gunn returning to write and direct the 8-part series for the streaming service. Peacemaker begins filming this January in Vancouver, Canada, under the working title Scriptures.

Peacemaker will stream exclusively on HBO Max in 2021
