Joe Manganiello Returns as Deathstroke in Zack Snyder’s ‘Justice League’; WB Considering Other Cameos

Today, Collider announced that Joe Manganiello will indeed return to play Deathstroke in Zack Snyder’s Justice League directors cut. The 2017 film is currently undergoing reshoots to showcase Snyder’s original vision before he was forced to step away, and director Joss Whedon took over. Joe Manganiello was tight-lipped several weeks ago when asked about the reshoots. However, he was recently spotted sporting a new blonde haircut, which led many to believe he was gearing up to return as Slade Wilson.

It was revealed earlier this week that Jared Leto would return to play The Joker in the film. The studio is now considering bringing back other actors during reshoots (via Daniel Ritchman Patreon) including longtime star Margot Robbie to play Harley Quinn once again. It’ll be interesting to see what actors return for the extended cut of the film. Most notably if Jesse Eisenberg will return as Lex Luthor alongside Joe Manganiello’s Deathstroke in Arkham Asylum.

Zack Snyder’s Justice League will stream exclusively on HBO Max in 2021
