Director J.C Chandor Tapped For Sony’s ‘Kraven the Hunter’ Spin-Off Gig

Today, Deadline announced that director J.C Chandor has been hired to direct a Kraven the Hunter solo film for Sony and Marvel. Chandor is best known for directing Netflix’s action-heist Triple Frontier starring Oscar Issac and Ben Affleck. Kraven the Hunter will be yet another Spider-Man spin-off film set within Sony’s own cinematic universe like Venom, Morbius, and recently announced Spider-Woman.

Many thought that Kraven the Hunter could be featured in Spider-Man 3 by Marvel Studios however that this point is unknown. It should worth mentioning that both J. Jonah Jameson and Vulture appear in both Sony & Marvel films currently. Fan-favorite actors for the role of Kraven include Joe Manganiello, Hugh Jackman, and Jason Momoa.
