Today, we at Knight Edge Media have learned that casting is underway for the Prime Video Spider-Man live-action series Noir. Nicolas Cage is slated to return as the 1930s private eye after voicing a version of the character in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. The series will begin production this September and run through February 2025 in Los Angeles. It will be filmed under the working title Old Fashioned and will be 8 episodes long. The casting call is for series regular Fay:

[ FAY ] – Late 30s to early 40s, JAPANESE, female. The star attraction/ singer at the premiere nightclub in New York. Her intelligence, confidence and beauty hide her tortured soul as a caged bird, always kept under the thumb of the most powerful mobster in New York. After years biding her time, she feels the moment has come to break free by any means necessary. She’s in love with the man tasked to keep her safe, which has made both their jobs increasingly difficult. At times it seems like she’s always looking out for number one, but the truth is she’s more loyal than she seems. *Ideally would love an actor that could sing. JAPANESE ACTORS ARE HIGHLY ENCOURAGED TO SUBMIT…FRACTIONAL SERIES REGULAR

Oren Uziel, Steven Lightfoot, Phil Lord, Chris Miller, and Amy Pascal will executive produce the series. Contact casting director Rachel Tenner for more information.
