Recently, The Hollywood Reporter announced that a Jon Snow sequel series is in the works at HBO. The report mentions that actor Kit Harrington is expected to return as Jon Snow. Following the events of season 8 of Game of Thrones, he is last seen (unfortunately) not becoming the next King of Westeros. The entire series’ major reveal was that he was secretly a Targaryen and the rightful king. Nevertheless, Snow decides to travel beyond the wall once more and live among the Free Folk. We at Knight Edge Media have been informed that while the series is in the works, it’s extremely early in development as no writer or producer has even been attached.

Over on Daniel Ritchman’s Patreon, he revealed that an Ayra Stark spin-off is also in the works at HBO. His report does not mention if star Maisie Williams will return for the role. Following the events of season 8, she is last seen traveling the world as a Many-Face God assassin. It should be expected that this series is also in early development. It’ll be unknown if either show moves forward at HBO.
