Screenwriter Damon Lindelof Tapped To Pen An Untitled ‘Star Wars’ Project

Today, Jeff Sneider of The Ankler revealed that screenwriter Damon Lindelof has been hired to write an untitled Star Wars feature film. Lindelof is best known for his work on HBO’s Watchmen but also co-writing LOST and 2009’s Star Trek. It’s unknown what film he will be writing as most of the films have been canceled by Lucasfilm due to “creative differences”.

Forcing the studio to pivot towards Disney+ shows including The Mandalorian, Boba Fett, and Obi-Wan Kenobi. Feature films in development include Kevin Feige’s Star Wars and Taika Watiti’s Star Wars. As well as Patty Jenkins Rogue Squadron that has been put on hold.
