Today, Variety announced that a new live-action Pokemon series is in early development for Netflix. The series will be written produced by Lucifer writer Joe Henderson. Plot details are being kept under wraps but will follow in the footsteps of 2019’s Detective Pikachu. The feature film was loved by fans but unfortunately failed at the box office. Legendary was considering another live-action film in 2020 that would possibly follow Red & Blue from the manga. However, that has yet to move forward.
