Predator Dan Trachtenberg

Earlier today, Deadline announced that 10 Cloverfield Lane director Dan Trachtenberg had been tapped to direct a new Predator movie for Disney-Fox under the 20th Century Studios banner. They didn’t know much about the plot but that it was not connected to Shane Black’s Predator in 2018. The mention the screenplay had been written by Kingdom and Treadtsone scribe Patrick Aison.

Discussing Film realized that they had previously reported on this project in 2019 under the working title Skulls for Disney-Fox. That film followed a Native American female who must learn to become a great warrior. The director took to Twitter to reveal he has been secretly working on this film for 4 years. He was hoping to just drop the completed film as he did with 10 Cloverfield Lane. Which also had an unknown stealth production. It’s unknown if this Predator prequel has already been filmed or is yet to be filmed.
