Amazon Resets ‘God of War’ TV Series Creative Team as Showrunner Rafe Judkins Exits

Today, a report announced that showrunner and executive producer Rafe Judkins has left the upcoming God of War TV series for Prime Video. The writer is best known for his time on Amazon’s other fantasy series, Wheel of Time, before tackling God of War. The streaming service and Sony Pictures were happy with several scripts Junkins had written for the popular PlayStation video game. Fellow producers Hawk Ostby and Mark Fergus have also departed the project. The streaming service, alongside Sony Pictures, is searching for a new showrunner and expects a complete creative shakeup with new episodes written by the new team.
