Camila Mendes Joins Amazon’s ‘Masters of the Universe’ Remake as Teela

Today, it was announced that actress Camila Mendes had joined the cast of the upcoming Masters of the Universe remake movie. Mendes is best known for her role as Veronica on The CW’s Riverdale and Netflix’s teen comedy Do Revenge. She will play the role of Teela, a member of Captain of Eternia’s Royal Guard and protector of Prince Adam/He-Man. Nicholas Galitzine was previously announced to star as He-Man in the upcoming remake. Travis Knight (Bumblebee) also boarded the project as director. Escape Artists and Mattel Films are set to produce the film.

Masters of the Universe is set to hit theaters on June 5th, 2026
