Director Gareth Edwards Exits ‘Jurassic World: Rebirth’ Sequel

Director Gareth Edwards has exited the upcoming Jurassic World: Rebirth sequel.

Today, a report revealed that director Gareth Edwards has exited the upcoming Jurassic World: Rebirth sequel. The director is cited to have “creative differences” with the studio over the direction of the sequel. He came on for the semi-reboot after Colin Trevorrow directed the previous three Jurassic World films. Edwards is best known for directing Godzilla, Rogue One, and The Creator. The first film grossed over $869 million at the worldwide box office thanks to the star power of Scarlett Johansson, Mahershala Ali, and Jonathan Bailey. All of them are expected to return for the sequel.
