Samara Weaving Lands First ‘X-Men’ Role as Emma Frost

Australian actress Samara Weaving has landed the role of Emma Frost in Marvel Studios’ X-Men reboot.

Today, a report announced that Australian actress Samara Weaving has landed the role of Emma Frost in Marvel Studios’ X-Men reboot. Weaving is best known for her horror roles, most recently in the Ready or Not franchise. She is the first to be signed on after an amazing audition on July 4th, according to the report. Other rumored actors include Cailee Spaeny (Civil War) as Rogue and Charles Melton (Warfare, Beef) as Beast, though they have yet to be announced. Adam Driver (The Rise of Skywalker) has long been rumored to play a villain in the film, who could be anyone from Magneto to Mr. Sinister to William Stryker. While it’s unknown who he is playing, it’s expected to be a villain. The full cast is rumored to be signed on before D23 on August 14th.
