Earlier today, screenwriter David Jenkins revealed that DC Studios has passed on his script for a Booster Gold TV series. The series was in the works for over a year but never really got any traction. “My ‘Booster Gold’ won’t be moving forward,” he said on social media. A separate report claimed the character might be used in the future, citing a new pitch from a new creative team (via The Wrap). At one point, Kumail Nanjiani (The Big Sick, Eternals) was rumored to be in the running for the role of Michael Carter, but it was never officially announced.
