Kathryn Newton Confirmed To Return in ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ as Cassie Lang

Yesterday, Marvel Studios showcased the first footage for Avengers: Doomsday behind closed doors at CinemaCon 2026. The footage confirmed that Kathryn Newton will cameo in the film as Cassie Lang following the events of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. It’s very possible she won’t be the only “Young Avenger” that will cameo in the film, as fan-favorites Ms. Marvel (played by Iman Vellani) and Kate Bishop (played by Hailee Steinfeld) have already met following the events of The Marvels. Though their appearance has yet to be confirmed. Ruaridh Mollica is already expected to appear as Tommy Maixmoff in this year’s VisionQuest series on Disney+ alongside Joe Locke as Billy Maximoff. Though it’s unknown if they will ever meet the other Young Avengers.

Avengers: Doomsday is slated to hit theaters on December 18th
