Today, a report announced that Sony Pictures has begun early development on another Men in Black sequel. The last film was a spin-off in 2019’s Men in Black: International, starring Chris Hemsworth, but it bombed at the box office. This film will be a true sequel to Men in Black 3 and is expected to star Will Smith as Agent J once again. However, Smith has not yet committed to the film until he reads the script and provides his input. Bad Boys For Life screenwriter Chris Bremner has been tapped to pen the script. While the plot is being kept under wraps, it will most likely feature Agent J taking on his own young partner. Like Agent K (played by Tommy Lee Jones) did for him in the original 1997 film. At one point, the studio was considering a Men in Black/Jump Street crossover titled MIB23, but it was quickly killed during the Sony Pictures hacks in 2014 (via GQ).

Men in Black 4 has no set release date
