Today, a report announced that actor Djimon Hounsou has joined the cast of Amazon MGM’s Highlander live-action reboot. Hounsou is best known for roles in major films like Guardians of the Galaxy, The Legend of Tarzan, and Rebel Moon. He is set to play an immortal African warrior in the upcoming film. He joins the ensemble cast of Henry Cavill, Dave Bautista, Marisa Abela, Karen Gillan, and Russell Crowe. Chad Stahelski has long been tapped to direct the film before working on the next John Wick film. Production begins later this month.
