Today, a report announced that actor Michael Mando has returned as the supervillain Scorpion in Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures’ feature film, Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Mando originally appeared as the evil henchman Mac Gargan in 2017’s Spider-Man: Homecoming before returning for this film. He was last seen in prison with The Vulture in a post-credit scene, never fully becoming the Scorpion until now. The report also confirmed Mark Ruffalo and Jon Bernthal will return as The Hulk and The Punisher in the upcoming film alongside Spider-Man (played by Tom Holland). Destin Daniel Cretton has taken over as director from Jon Watts on the fourth film. Production began today in Glasgow, Scotland.
