Today, Marvel Studios announced it will push Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars to December 18th, 2026, and December 17th, 2027. Both films were initially slated to hit theaters on May 1st, 2026, and May 7th, 2027. This comes as a bit of a surprise considering they have been busy filming Doomsday for the last month in the UK. It has yet to be announced, but it is expected that Spider-Man: Brand New Day will also be pushed as they won’t even begin filming that film until after Doomsday. That announcement will come from Sony Pictures directly. The Russo Brothers have returned to direct the two-part epic.
