Today, a report announced that actor Sam Neill has joined the cast for Godzilla and Kong 3 for Legendary Pictures. The third monsterverse film will again follow the team-up of the kaiju monsters Godzilla and King Kong. Niel is best known for his role as Dr. Alan Grant from the original Jurassic Park movie. He joins Kaitlyn Dever, Jack O’Connell, Delroy Lindo, Matthew Modine, and Alycia Debnam-Carey. As well as the return of Dan Stevens as veterinarian Trapper Beasley from last year’s Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire. Grant Sputore is taking over as director from Adam Wingard with a screenplay by Dave Callaham.
Godzilla and Kong 3 will hit theaters on March 26th, 2027
