Today, a report announced that actor David Arquette will return for Scream 7 as Dewey Riley after his supposed demise in the fifth film. As with most returning cast members, this film will feature many former characters who have been long dead, such as Scott Foley and Matthew Lillard. It’s unknown how they will all return for the sequel, but that will be a central plot point for the film. Production has been underway for several months.
