Today, a report has been released that actor Paul Walter Hauser has joined the cast of Marvel Studio’s The Fantastic Four. The report states that it will be in an undisclosed role. Hauser is best known for his comedic roles, like in Cobra Kai, but he has been given dramatic roles in Richard Jewell. He joins an ensemble cast of Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Marvel’s first family.

Many fans have tried to figure out who Hauser could be playing and have pointed to longtime Fantastic Four villain Mole Man. While the character isn’t confirmed for the film, the actor could also voice the robotic character H.E.R.B.I.E. The studio was looking for a comedic actor to voice the character when he first appeared in the first concept art in February (via DanielRPK Patreon). Production begins later this summer in the United Kingdom.

The Fantastic Four hits theaters on July 25th, 2025
