Today, CD Projekt Red announced a collaboration with Anonymous Content to develop a live-action project based on their latest video game, Cyberpunk 2077. We at Knight Edge Media had heard back in 2020 that the series was considered with Netflix. Due to Netflix already developing CD Projekt Red’s other video franchise, The Witcher. The streaming service eventually developed the anime Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. While it’s still unknown who will land the project, Anonymous Content has worked on several high-profile shows, including True Detective and Mr. Robot.

Cyberpunk 2077 was considered one of the most anticipated games of the year when it was originally announced, but unfortunately due to many glitches in the game it fell out of favor from fans at launch. No showrunner or director has been attached to the upcoming project.
