Back in 2021, Without Remorse was released on Amazon starring Michael B. Jordan as the classic Tom Clancy special forces character John Clark. The movie ended with Clark speaking to a government official about the Rainbow Six team op. Jordan later revealed he signed a two-picture deal to star as John Clark and hoped he would eventually get to do a Rainbow Six team-up movie.

Today, The Hollywood Reporter announced that John Wick and the upcoming Ghost of Tsushima director Chad Stahelski are set to helm the spec ops movie. The movie is expected to be based on the book series and not video games of the same name. It’s unknown if Tom Clancy’s other popular character Jack Ryan (played by John Krasinski on Amazon), will appear in the film. As in the novel Rainbow Six, Ryan became President after his time as a CIA agent. Paramount Pictures will release Rainbow Six in theaters instead of on the streaming service.
