‘The Hunger Games’ Prequel Calls Upon Peter Dinklage

Today, Variety announced that Peter Dinklage will join the ever-growing cast of The Hunger Games prequel film The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes. He has been cast alongside Tom Blyth, Rachel Zegler, and Hunter Schafer as the Capitol Dean of the Academy, Casca Highbottom. Dinklage is best known for his roles in Game of Thrones, X-Men: Days of Future Past, and Avengers: Infinity War. “With production underway, we couldn’t be more excited about the way this cast has come together and thrilled to be welcoming Peter Dinklage to Panem,” said Nathan Kahane, president of Lionsgate’s Motion Picture Group. Francis Lawrence returns to direct the film with a screenplay by Michael Lesslie.
