‘Voltron’ Live-Action Film In Development From Director Rawson Marshall Thurber

Today, Deadline announced that director Rawson Marshall Thurber is developing a live-action Voltron film. The film is currently being shopped around at different studios including Warner Bros., Universal, and Amazon. Thurber and Ellen Shanman penned the script for the adaptation. Voltron is a massive robot that is made up of several small parts driven by a group of teenagers much like the Power Rangers. Rawson Marshall Thurber recently directed Red Notice for Netflix spawned 2 sequels by the streaming service.
