Amandla Stenberg Will Star In ‘Star Wars: The Acolyte’ TV Series

Today, Variety announced that actor Amandla Stenberg has been tapped to star in the upcoming Star Wars series The Acolyte. Leslye Headland was announced to write the project last year before the series was announced at Disney Investor Day 2020. Amandla Stenberg recently starred in Dear Evan Hanson but many remember the actor in 2012’s The Hunger Games. It’s unknown who the actor will play but the series is supposed to be the first live-action project set outside The Skywalker Saga. Production will begin sometime in 2022.
