Today, our friends over at The IllumNerdi revealed that Willem DaFoe and Thomas Hayden Church had entered talks to return for Marvel Studios Spider-Man 3. The film that will introduce multiple Peter Parkers throughout the Sony multiverse. It is also expected to have the return of most major villains from the previous 2 Spider-Man trilogies. Willem Dafoe outshined as Norman Osborn turned Green Goblin in the original Spider-Man film. However, he did die when his glider impaled his stomach towards the end of the film. Thomas Hayden Church was the highlight of Spider-Man 3 as petty criminal Flint Marko aka Sandman. His heartbreaking tale about turning to a life of crime to pay for his terminally ill daughter was the only highlight of the entire film.

We at Knight Edge Media had heard that Green Goblin would indeed appear in the film. However, the studio was also looking to bring back Dane Dehaan as Green Goblin also. It’s unknown how many villains will appear in this film. Tom Holland returns as Peter Parker alongside Andrew Garfield’s Peter Parker & Tobey Maguire’s Peter Parker. Zendaya and Kristen Dunst both return as MJ. While Jamie Foxx and Alfred Molina return as Electro and Doc Ock. Benedict Cumberbatch also returns as Doctor Strange. Kevin Feige will produce alongside Amy Pascal. With Jon Watts returning to complete his trilogy as director.

Spider-Man 3 hits theaters December 17th, 2021
