Director Jeff Nichols Will Write & Direct ‘A Quiet Place’ Prequel

Today, Deadline announced that Mud director Jeff Nichols has been tapped to write and direct a new film set within A Quiet Place universe. The sequel was scheduled to hit theaters in March but was pushed to 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The upcoming film won’t be a direct sequel to A Quiet Place 2 but be set in the same universe with an original idea by director & star John Krasinski. Paramount Pictures will return to produce this spin-off.
