Jamie Foxx Will Return as Electro in Marvel Studios Untitled ‘Spider-Man 3’

Today, in a wild turn of events it was revealed by The Hollywood Reporter that actor Jamie Foxx was in talks to join the cast of Marvel Studios Untitled Spider-Man 3. Foxx will play the character of Electro once again as he did in 2014’s The Amazing Spider-Man 2 opposite Andrew Garfield. Many are wondering if this is the same version of the character from The Amazing Spider-Man universe crossing over or he is simply playing Marvel Studios version of the character? Only time will tell if we finally enter the Spider-Verse.

Tom Holland will return as Peter Parker. Also returning include Zendaya, Marisa Tomei, Jacob Batalon, and Tony Revolori. Production begins sometime this Fall in Atlanta. Kevin Feige will return to produce alongside Amy Pascal.
