Director Taika Waititi Set To Helm An Untitled ‘Star Wars’ Movie

Today, StarWars.com announced that Thor: Love and Thunder director Taika Waititi will helm a new untitled Star Wars movie for Disney. His name was rumored last year after his directorial episodes of The Mandalorian was met with high praise by fans. 1917 screenwriter Krysty Wilson-Cairns has boarded the project and will write the screenplay with Waititi. Kathleen Kennedy will return and produce the project for Lucasfilm.
