Today, Variety revealed that director Louis Leterrier has entered talks to helm Bright 2 for Netflix. This comes off director David Ayer leaving the franchise after the first film was released on Netflix in 2017. Leterrier is best known for directing The Transporter, The Incredible Hulk, Now You See Me, and Clash of the Titans.
Will Smith and Joel Edgerton will return for the upcoming hard-r fairytale sequel. The screenplay was written by David Ayer and Evan Spiliotopoulos with rewrites by T.S. Nowlin.
Bright 2 will debut exclusively on Netflix
