Michelle Yeoh Will Star in Amazon’s ‘Blade Runner 2099’ TV Series

Today, a report has revealed that actress Michelle Yeoh will star in the upcoming Prime Video series Blade Runner 2099. Yeoh has been a namestay in Hollywood for many years, including recently appearing in Everything Everywhere All at Once, Shang-Chi, and The Brothers Sun. The series, announced in 2022, will follow up on the original Blade Runner and Blade Runner 2049. Plot details have been kept under wraps, but Yeoh will play Olwen, who is described as a replicant near the end of her life. Ridley Scott has returned to the franchise to produce it. Silka Luisa is set to showrun the project and executive produce.
