Amazon Studios Looking To Reboot ‘RoboCop’ Once Again

RoboCop was a classic action film from 80’s, like The Terminator or Judge Dredd. The character was rebooted (and even appeared in several video games) in 2014 with Joel Kinnaman as the title anti-hero. Now, after aquiring MGM last year, Amazon looks to reboot the character again, according to Deadline.

The character features Alex Murphy, a good cop from Detriot, while killed in the line of duty, returns to the streets with cybernetic enhancements. He eventually becomes judge, jury, and executioner for those he “arrests.” No writer or director has been attached to the project.
