Legendary Developing a ‘Street Fighter’ Live-Action Movie

Today, Deadline announced that Legendary Pictures has acquired the film and TV Series for Street Fighter from Capcom Games. The announcement reveals that the studio is looking to develop a live-action movie first. All of the adaptions will be co-developed with Capcom. The film (like the games) will go head-to-head with Mortal Kombat, developed by New Line Cinema and Warner Brothers. No writer or director has been attached.
