Today, Discussing Film revealed that yet another Hellboy reboot is in the works. The last reboot came out in 2019 starring David Harbour and met with awful reviews though not by any fault of David Harbour’s portrayal. That reboot was going to launch a new series of films following the early 2000s films by Guillermo del Toro and starring Ron Perlman. The upcoming reboot will be directed by one-half of the Crank and Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance directing duo Brian Taylor.

Hellboy creator Mike Mignola and horror author Christopher Golden will receive story credits for the reboot. Production is already expected to begin this April in Bulgaria. The film is currently titled Hellboy: The Crooked Man after the 2011 mini-series of the same name. No one is attached to star as David Harbour will be busy shooting Stranger Things season 5 and the Thunderbolts for Marvel.
