DC Studios first announced a Mister Miracle animated show several years ago as part of their new cinematic universe. It would be one of the few shows to start as an animated series and potentially crossover to live-action when the story allowed, like Creature Commandos. Now, in a recent interview, DC Studios co-head Peter Safran reveals Josh Hutcherson (Five Nights at Freddy’s, The Hunger Games) and Mackensize Davis (Terminator: Dark Fate, Below):
“Mr. Miracle, I think that Tom King really learned a lot in his season of co-creating and executive producing Lanterns and he adapted his book Mr. Miracle fully on his own, wrote all eight episodes and I think it’s just dynamite. Josh Hutcherson as Scott Free and Mackenzie Davis as Big Barda.”
Earlier this year, comic book writer Tom King also revealed the first key art from the series, featuring Mister Miracle and his love interest, Big Barda (below).
