Today, a new report announced that Asa Germann has joined the cast of the X-Men reboot. He will play the fan-favorite character Angel in the upcoming film. He is best known for appearing in Prime Video’s Gen V and last year’s Scream 7. Knight Edge Media was told they were looking for an actor to play the character last month around D23, but it was too early in the casting process to reveal him with everyone else.
Ben Foster previously played the character in X-Men: The Last Stand (above), and Ben Hardy in X-Men: Apocalypse. Germann joins Sadie Sink (Jean Grey), Kit Connor (Cyclops), Christopher Abbott (Prof. X), Samara Weaving (Emma Frost), Inde Navarrette (Rogue), and Maya Boyd (Storm). Adam Driver is set to star as the villain Mr. Sinister. Production begins early next year in the UK.
X-Men will hit theaters on May 5th, 2028
