Today, a new report announced that actor Charles Melton has boarded the Naruto live-action movie as Kakashi Hatake. We at Knight Edge Media learned earlier this week that he had an offer on the table for Naruto but is still negotiating with Marvel Studios to appear in X-Men as Beast. He could still appear in X-Men and Naruto as they try to make both projects work for his schedule, though he has yet to officially sign for X-Men at this time.
Kakashi is the leader of Team 7 and the first sensei of the teenage heroes Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke. His life is pretty tragic, but he never falters in turning evil, as many in this universe do despite their pasts. He eventually becomes the 6th Hokage before Naruto, following the 4th Great Ninja War. Production begins early February next year in the United Kingdom.
