Today, a report announced that actor Jason Momoa has joined the cast of the live-action movie Helldivers. The video game adaptation was announced at the start of 2025 and had director Justin Lin on board in December. Sony Pictures, alongside PlayStation Productions, will produce the film. Screenwriter Gary Dauberman penned the script. The original video game Helldrivers 2 sold over 12 million copies when it launched in 2015.
