Today, a report announced that screenwriter David Jenkins has been tapped as head writer for the DC Studios Booster Gold TV series. Jenkins is best known as the creator of HBO’s now-canceled pirate comedy Our Flag Means Death. He is currently only signed to write the pilot, but if the show is fully greenlit, he will act as showrunner. At one point, Danny McBride, Jeff Fradley & John Carcieri were hired to pen the script but exited the project shortly after. No actor has been attached to the title role.
