Today, a report announced that screenwriter Hossein Amini has been hired to rewrite the script of Clayface for DC Studios. Initially, Mike Flanagan was tapped to pen the script after his original pitch for the body-horror film. Amini is best known for helping pen several Obi-Wan Kenobi TV series episodes. After working on the Speak No Evil English remake, James Watkins has already been tapped to direct the film. Production is still slated to begin this fall in the United Kingdom.
