Today, we at Knight Edge Media have learned that an open casting call has gone out for the two teenage villains in The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping. As with every Hunger Games story, the tributes from Districts 1 & 2 are always the teen antagonists against the hero, beyond the adults in the Capitol. The casting call calls for the characters Panache and Silka:

18 (actors must be 18+), male, open ethnicity; Massive, over 6 feet tall and over 200 pounds of bodybuilder muscle, Panache is a crude and aggressive career tribute from District 1. Known for his arrogance and ruthlessness, he clashes with Haymitch during the Games. American accent.[ SILKA ]
17 (actors must be 18+), female, open ethnicity; Over 6 feet tall and all bodybuilder muscle, a confident and arrogant career tribute from District 1, she has impressive strength, agility and axe wielding skills. American accent.
Debra Zane and Dylan Jury are the prequel’s casting directors. The cast includes Joseph Zada as Haymitch Abernathy, Whitney Peak as Lenore Dove Baird, McKenna Grace as Maysilee Donner, Kelvin Harrison Jr. as Beetee, and Jesse Plemons as Plutarch Heavensbee. Production begins this July in Germany.
The Hunger Games: Sunrise On The Reaping hits theaters on November 20th, 2026
