Today, Searchlight Pictures announced the whole cast of Ready or Not 2. The cast includes Samara Weaving, who reprises her role as Grace, Kathryn Newton (Ant-Man 3), Shawn Hatosy (The Pitt), Néstor Carbonell (The Dark Knight), Kevin Durand (Abigail), David Cronenberg (The Fly), Sarah Michelle Gellar (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) and Elijah Wood (Lord of the Rings Trilogy). The horror-comedy was developed after directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett exited the Scream franchise. To rave reviews, they released the first Ready or Not starring Samara Weaving in 2019. They also directed the spin-off vampire movie Abigail last year to less-than-stellar reviews. Screenwriters Guy Busick and R. Christopher Murphy return to pen the script after working on Scream and Abigail.
