During the final moments of The Mandalorian season 2 episode 1, it ended with a disfigured Boba Fett on Tatooine. In Star Wars Legends it was revealed that Boba Fett had survived the Sarlacc Pit since Return of the Jedi but has never been referenced in any of the films or shows until now. We knew Jango Fett actor Temuera Morrison was set to return for The Mandalorian to play multiple Star Wars clones including rumored Captain Rex.
Now Deadline has announced that a limited series based on Boba Fett is in-development at Disney+. The series is expected to begin as early as next week with Temuera Morrison expected to return. The Mandalorian has also been revealed to be getting a third season at the streaming service. Not much else is known about the project at t his time…
