Today, a report announced that actor Callum Vinson has been cast as Kratos’s son, Atreus, in Prime Video’s God of War live-action TV series. He will star in the series opposite Ryan Hurst as the vengeful Spartan. Vision has appeared in several projects already, including The Night Agent, Chucky, and this year’s Crystal Lake as a young Jason Voorhees. He joins a cast that includes Max Parker as Heimdall, Ólafur Darri Ólafsson as Thor, Mandy Patinkin as Odin, Alastair Duncan as Mimir, and Danny Woodburn and Jeff Gulka as brothers Brok and Sindri. Production begins this month in Vancouver and runs through until April 2027.
