Today, Walt Disney officially announced that actors Teagan Croft and Milo Manheim will star in their upcoming Tangled live-action remake. Croft will star as Rapunzel, and Manheim is set to star as her cocky love interest, Flynn Rider. Croft is best known for her roles on DC’s Titans as Raven, while Manheim appeared on Disney Channel’s ZOMBIES TV movies. Scarlett Johansson was in talks to co-star as Mother Gothel, but passed to appear in The Batman 2. Director Michael Gracey (The Greatest Showman) is attached to direct, with a screenplay by Jennifer Kaytin Robinson (Thor: Love and Thunder). Production begins later this year.
